Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have tied the knot, becoming husband and wife in a civil ceremony. This event, described as “a private and intimate moment attended by their five children,” was announced by the public relations team of the Portuguese soccer star.
The ceremony took place in Cascais, a charming coastal town in western Portugal located near the capital, Lisbon. The announcement was made by the Brunswick Group, and the couple shared a picture on their Instagram accounts showcasing their rings.
Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been together for a decade, first meeting in Madrid. The 41-year-old Ronaldo is a celebrated athlete, having been named world player of the year five times. He recently participated in his sixth World Cup, matching a record for Portugal.
Currently, his Saudi Arabian team, Al Nassr, is gearing up to start its domestic season this coming Saturday.
