AEW Achieves New Heights at All In Event

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) elevated its status on Sunday during the All In event. The highlight of the company’s year began with the AEW World Trios Championship match, featuring seven teams. The action kicked off during the Buy In and extended into the main show.

As the match progressed, teams continuously entered the ring. Swerve Strickland emerged, energizing the fans at Wembley Stadium in London. Following him, new music heralded the arrival of The New Level, a tag team comprising Kofi and Austin Creed. This appearance marked their AEW debut after becoming free agents in the wrestling industry. The signing of Kofi and Creed represents a significant addition to AEW’s tag team roster.

The reigning champions, Adam Page, Bandido, and Brody King, fought hard but were eventually eliminated. Other teams, including Kyle O’Reilly, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors, David Finlay, Colten and Austin Gunn, and Jay White, were also eliminated. The match climaxed with Strickland, Kofi, Creed, Claudio Castagnoli, Pac, and Kidd as the final contenders.

Kofi was nearly eliminated, but his feet never touched the ground. With assistance from Prince Nana, Kofi remained in the match. Utilizing this advantage, Strickland, Kofi, and Creed defeated their opponents, claiming the AEW Trios Championship. Known as Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in WWE, Kofi and Creed were previously multiple-time tag team champions with the organization. AEW owner Tony Khan confirmed that they officially joined AEW.

The event saw another significant title change. Persephone defeated Maya World to win the TBS Championship earlier in the show. This marked the second title shift within the first two hours of All In.
