For many years, a dedicated group of 20 former Camp Saginaw participants have consistently reunited to share memories and experiences.
Recollections from Camp Saginaw in 1966 reveal the lasting friendships forged during those summers. Among the group, Brian Redman and Rick Elion hold fond memories of their time as bunkmates.
Back then, campers remembered their days filled with activities like Color War, campfires, and morning reveille. Significant moments, such as winning races or experiencing a first kiss, seemed to last forever. Yet, the eight-week duration of camp seemed to vanish as quickly as it arrived, leaving behind a warm, lingering memory.
