Vicious Vicki is set to make waves as she crosses the Jersey state line, eyeing a chance to reclaim her position in the Awesome Championship Wrestling (ACW) Women’s Championship race. On Saturday, she will compete in a battle royal against nine other women to become the No. 1 contender for the title, currently held by Steph De Lander. Previously, Vicki pinned De Lander during a tag team match at Reckoning, fueling her ambition further.
In a conversation with Fox News Digital, Vicki expressed her determination to stop being underestimated in the ring. She emphasized her long-standing involvement with ACW and declared her intent to triumph over her opponents and secure her place as the undisputed ACW women’s champion.
“I’ve been with ACW since it began. I consider myself the ‘Queen of ACW,’ yet I’ve been overlooked,” she remarked. “Saturday, I’ll prove again why I deserve the championship.”
Vicki, who hails from New Jersey, holds a deep passion for wrestling. Inspired by WWE Hall of Famer Lita and The Hardy Boyz during the Attitude Era, she aspired to become a professional wrestler from a young age.
“I was a fan from childhood, captivated by the sport’s characters and spectacle,” she said. “Lita, with her unique style, inspired me most. Wrestling was my dream career, and in 2018, I took the leap to pursue it, driven by a fear of lifelong regret if I didn’t.”
She found the combination of athleticism and theatrical elements in wrestling irresistible, describing the sport as an enchanting mix of performance and athletic skill. Vicki shared how the narrative and connection with the audience also contributed to her fervor for wrestling.
“It’s about creating stories and connecting with the audience. Seeing figures like Lita made me believe I could achieve my dreams too,” she explained.
