The final day of the summer transfer window is here, and clubs across Europe are making their last moves. Today has seen plenty of action as teams rush to finalize deals.
Chelsea’s Transfer Activities
Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez is in the spotlight today. Meanwhile, Chelsea has been busy moving out players. Goalkeeper Robert Sanchez is set to join Como in Serie A on loan. In another move, Tottenham is finalizing the permanent signing of Tosin Adarabioyo from Chelsea.
Fulham’s Signings
Fulham is close to signing Real Madrid midfielder Manuel Angel. The Spanish club plans to retain 50% of any future sale. Angel will be Fulham’s third signing from Madrid this summer, following Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios. Additionally, Fulham is nearing a deal to bring in Swedish midfielder Hugo Larsson from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Key Defensive Changes
Michael Keane is expected to stay at Everton, despite interest from West Ham United. However, Everton is looking to add a right-back before the window closes, given Nathan Patterson’s expected move to Torino.
Wrexham has secured Burnley defender Joe Worrall for £2 million. Brighton’s Igor Julio is set to join Burnley on a permanent deal worth over £3 million.
Arsenal’s Strategic Moves
Arsenal’s Ethan Nwaneri is heading to Borussia Dortmund on loan. The loan aims to help Nwaneri develop and potentially increase his transfer value. Arsenal has turned down offers for Nwaneri but sees this loan as a strategic move.
Liverpool Transactions
Liverpool refused a £30 million bid from Nottingham Forest for Trey Nyoni. The club is also sending Keyrol Figueroa to Port Vale on loan to gain first-team experience.
International Interests
Juventus striker Jonathan David is finalizing a loan move to Atletico Madrid, a change from previous interest in Nicolas Jackson, who joined Aston Villa. This move underscores David’s appeal in the European market.
