Search for Shooter After Fatal Incident at California High School

A manhunt is ongoing for a shooter involved in a tragic incident at a California high school graduation ceremony. The shooting resulted in one fatality and injuries to three others.

Officers were called to Fairfield High School’s parking lot around 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The gunfire erupted soon after the graduation for Sam Yeteo High School ended, while attendees were taking photographs.

Michelle Belyea, speaking for the Fairfield Police Department, reported that four individuals were shot. “One is deceased and three others are receiving treatment at local hospitals,” Belyea stated.

No information about the victims’ identities or the severity of their injuries was provided. Additionally, no arrests have been made, and no details about the suspect have been shared.

Suisun City Mayor Alma Hernandez mentioned an “active shooter chase” on Facebook during the evening.
