Albino Buffalo Goes Viral for Resembling Trump

A buffalo in Bangladesh is drawing international attention because of its unusual hairstyle. This rare albino buffalo, fondly nicknamed ‘Donald Trump,’ has gained fame for its resemblance to the former U.S. president. This similarity is due to its distinctive blond tuft of hair.

The animal first gained notoriety when a local farmer noted its resemblance to President Trump. A video of the buffalo quickly spread online, bringing crowds to a farm outside Dhaka where the animal was initially kept. Onlookers marveled at the likeness between the animal and the former president.

A rare albino squirrel also caught public attention after being seen on a golf course, inviting people to ‘keep an eye out.’

The buffalo was initially set for slaughter during Eid al-Adha, a Muslim festival. However, government officials stepped in, and the animal was moved to the national zoo in Dhaka. This action allowed more people to see the animal, resulting in increased attendance at the zoo.

The nickname sparked debate among visitors. Some, like Dhaka student Mohammed Nasim, embraced the comparison, noting the similarities in hairstyle and personality. Nasim commented that the buffalo, like Trump, now enjoys a unique lifestyle and special treatment due to its newfound fame.

Initially, the zoo displayed a sign identifying the animal as ‘Donald Trump,’ later removed. The curator of the zoo was dismissed, but officials didn’t mention if the nickname situation played a role. Despite differing opinions on the appropriateness of the nickname, many visitors continue to flock to see the buffalo.

Some visitors, like Mohammad Joynal Adedin, felt naming an animal after a significant leader was improper. Adedin visited the zoo out of curiosity but viewed the nickname as disrespectful. Nonetheless, the buffalo’s resemblance to Trump has made it a popular and controversial attraction.
