Presley Gerber Passes Away at 27: Family Seeks Privacy

Presley Gerber, son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at the age of 27. The family has requested privacy during this painful period, confirmed by Cindy’s representative to Fox News Digital.

Gerber’s death occurred at a rehabilitation facility, as per Los Angeles County Medical Examiner records, with TMZ reporting that the autopsy is pending.

Presley was the older brother to model Kaia Gerber, and himself the only son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber. He openly discussed his battles with mental health, using social media and interviews as platforms.

“My parents were private, but now we have this teacher, my brother, who is very human for everyone,” Kaia Gerber told Vogue regarding Presley’s openness about his struggles.

Kaia shared insights about both her brother’s mental health and drug use in a Vogue cover story from August 2026, describing a long-term battle with addiction.

Presley shared a now-deleted Instagram video in December 2025 discussing his medication use and dealing with panic attacks. He expressed his goal of connecting with others facing similar issues and finding support. Additionally, he spoke on the Studio 22 podcast in February 2023 about his challenges with depression and mental health.

Presley started his career early, signing with IMG Models at 15 and participating in runway shows for top fashion houses including Moschino, Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger.

In 2019, Presley faced legal issues related to a DUI charge. Despite his struggles, he aimed to help others overcome similar situations, stating, “Whether I help one person or a hundred people, that’s all I need to do.”
