San Francisco 49ers quarterback Mac Jones may shine on the field, handling pressure from large defensive linemen, but he struggles with seafood and coffee. At 28, Jones is single and shares insights into his dating deal-breakers.
During a segment on “The Kittle Things,” Claire Kittle, wife of San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle, revealed Jones’s aversions. “You don’t eat seafood!” she exclaimed. “Oh, and you don’t drink coffee. That one might be worse.” Jones agreed, “Yeah. I’d say that those are probably my two biggest ones.” He even joked about opting for the kids’ menu at a seafood restaurant.
Jones shared some advice for potential dates: “Don’t go to a seafood spot with me.” This sentiment highlights his preference as he steps back into dating.
On the positive side, the Kittles praised Jones’s personality. Claire noted, “Everyone loves that.” George Kittle added, “His positivity would be my biggest green flag. Even when you’re hurting, you’ve still got a smile on your face and a love of life.”
Claire acknowledged Jones’s upbeat demeanor during challenging periods like dealing with team injuries or consecutive losses. Despite these setbacks, the 49ers maintain a strong 6-1 record, leading the NFC West. Jones has played sparingly this season as starting quarterback Brock Purdy remains healthy.
