Florida Man Arrested for Indecent Exposure Outside Taco Bell

Early Thursday morning, a peculiar incident occurred outside a Taco Bell in Florida, leading to the arrest of a man named Brandon Irizarry. According to reports from WFTV 9, the 28-year-old was apprehended for allegedly exposing himself near the restaurant’s side door at 1 a.m.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene, describing Irizarry as having multiple pairs of pants pulled down. Initially unaware of the deputies’ presence, he attempted to cover himself upon realizing they were there. Despite his efforts, deputies arrested him on charges of unlawful exposure of sexual organs and took him to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility.

In a public statement, Sheriff Rick Staly humorously warned that those who cannot control their actions, like keeping personal matters in their pants, might find themselves at the ‘Green Roof Inn,’ a colloquial reference to the detention facility.

“In Flagler County, if you can’t keep your business inside your pants, you’ll find yourself at the Green Roof Inn, swimming with different company than your fish,” Sheriff Rick Staly commented.

A notable part of the incident involved a pet fish found with Irizarry. Deputies discovered the betta fish, humorously named “Baja Blast,” swimming in a plastic container within his backpack. The fish was later taken to the Flagler County Humane Society, where staff reported that it was “doing great.”

The sheriff’s office used this incident to remind locals that late-night visits to Taco Bell should result in a receipt and possibly some regret, but not a booking number. This statement reflects the office’s community-oriented approach.

Sean Joseph, a writer for OutKick, covered this unconventional story, which highlighted the unexpected and humorous side of community law enforcement.
