Rep. Marcy Kaptur from Ohio was involved in a car accident near Toledo on Sunday morning, which led to her hospitalization, according to her office’s statement. At the time of the crash, Kaptur was heading to a church service.
The accident resulted in injuries for Kaptur, though her office confirmed that they are not life-threatening. “This morning, Congresswoman Kaptur was a passenger in a vehicle on her way to a church service when the car she was traveling in was struck. She is active, alert, and being treated for non-life threatening injuries,” her office stated.
