Emmanuel Wesley, 23, from Santa Ana, is charged with the murder of his mother, Theresa Jones, aged 61. Jones’ family raised alarms when she did not pick up her grandchild on July 7. Concern grew as she stopped responding to calls. Her disappearance ended in sorrow on July 11 when officers discovered her body in her car, abandoned at a church parking lot in Fullerton.
