Jelly Roll Files for Divorce: Subtle Signs of Marriage Troubles Revealed

Weeks before the public discovered Jelly Roll’s divorce filing from Bunnie Xo, subtle indications of marital issues were apparent, yet largely ignored. Cryptic song lyrics and discarded wedding rings were among these signs.

On May 18, Jelly Roll officially filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences. Court documents pinpoint their separation on May 9. Two days later, Bunnie shared some insightful thoughts on TikTok, expressing, “Women’s intuition when that s— don’t add up.”

Jelly Roll’s wife rebukes critics who attacked her over negative comments about the country music scene.

Fans later realized Bunnie had been dropping hints all along. One remarked, “She been dropping hints this whole time and we missed it lol.” Another added, “Bunnie was dropping the tea in real time and we all did not clock it.”

On June 4, Jelly Roll appeared at CMA Fest in Nashville without his wedding ring. The following day, Bunnie posted a tranquil video of herself horse riding, paralleling it with lyrics from Aerosmith’s “What It Takes,” showing her emotional state.

On June 6, Bunnie continued her cryptic messaging with another outdoor video set to the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Name.”

Hours before the divorce news circulated, Bunnie uploaded a video lip-syncing Nickelback’s “How You Remind Me,” noticeably without her wedding ring.

Simultaneously, Bunnie shared a picture in pink lingerie on Instagram, writing, “She’s getting her sparkle back.” In another development, movers were seen transporting items from the couple’s Tennessee home.

Bunnie, born Alisa DeFord, wed Jelly Roll in August 2016 after a whirlwind Vegas ceremony. Their relationship faced scrutiny, detailed in Bunnie’s memoir “Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic.” This book shares her tumultuous upbringing and emotional highs and lows.

Bunnie discussed past issues with Fox News Digital in February, revealing heartbreak upon discovering Jelly Roll’s ex-fling presence nearby.

She admitted, “I was hurt because I didn’t think he would be the one person to do that. At that moment, my heart was broken.” Yet, instead of anger, Bunnie questioned her attraction to the wrong kind of men.

Both grappled with letting go of their pasts. Bunnie explained, “We weren’t a traditional bride and groom.” She illustrated their unique lifestyle contrast with conventional marriages.

In her memoir, Bunnie recounted discovering Jelly Roll’s infidelity, initially disbelieving until evidence mounted via social media. Her fairy tale turned into a nightmare due to unresolved personal struggles.

Therapy allowed the couple to improve communication and rekindle their relationship. “We ended up coming back together,” Bunnie stated, embracing personal growth and mutual support.

Deciding to break generational curses, they committed to enhancing their relationship and evolving together. Bunnie noted, “We learned that marriage is not one-size-fits-all.” Both resolved to choose each other daily despite difficulties.
