WNBA All-Star Game: Indiana Fever Players Shine Among Top Starters

The WNBA All-Star Game on July 25 will feature standout players from the Indiana Fever, with Caitlin Clark leading the charge. She is joined by fellow teammates Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell as starting players. The game will occur in Chicago, with fans making up half of the voting process, and current players and a media panel contributing the remaining votes.

For the third consecutive year, Clark, Boston, and Mitchell will participate in the All-Star Game. Notably, this is the first year all three received the starting nod. Boston had previously received this honor in 2023 and 2025, while Clark has been a consistent starter for the past two years. Mitchell, however, marks her first time as a starter after being a replacement in 2025.

The Indiana Fever is not the only team with multiple players among the starters. The Dallas Wings have guard Paige Bueckers and forward Jessica Shepard, and the Minnesota Lynx have Natasha Howard and Olivia Miles in the starting lineup.

Completing the roster are Las Vegas Aces’ A’ja Wilson, a four-time league MVP, New York Liberty’s Breanna Stewart, a two-time MVP, and Gabby Williams from the Golden State Valkyries.

This year introduces a new approach to team selection, aiming to celebrate the WNBA’s 30th anniversary. Cynthia Cooper and Teresa Weatherspoon, two WNBA icons, will select their teams from the 22 All-Star players, shifting from the previous method where captains chose teams.

Clark’s performance undoubtedly secured her starting role. She averages 21.2 points per game, ranking fifth in the league, and 8.2 assists per game, ranking second. She continues to break records, earlier surpassing 1,000 career points and 500 career assists faster than any other player in WNBA history.

The 12 All-Star reserves will be announced at a later date, complementing the robust lineup of starters.
