William Faber’s Unique September 11 Tribute

William Faber’s Unique September 11 Tribute

William Faber celebrated his September 11 birthday like any child until he learned its significance around age 10. Since realizing the day’s importance, he chose to serve others instead of celebrating himself. His story is featured in Fox Nation’s new special highlighting Americans born on September 11, 2001, as they turn 25.

According to Faulkner on ‘Outnumbered,’ about 13,000 babies were born in the U.S. on that day. Two flags can be seen at the Tear Drop 9/11 Memorial in Bayonne, New Jersey, with lower Manhattan and One World Trade Center in the background. (Photo by Gary Hershorn/Getty Images)

REPORTER’S NOTEBOOK: 9/11 IS JUST A HISTORY CHAPTER FOR A NEW GENERATION OF AMERICANS

Faber explained that ever since his parents shared the story of 9/11, he hasn’t celebrated his birthday on that day. ‘My parents wanted to protect my feelings, ensure I could celebrate and have fun. When I turned 10, they told me the story. From that day on, I haven’t celebrated my birthday on that date,’ Faber said.

He turns 25 on September 11, 2026. His commitment to community service is featured in the Fox Nation special. Faber made this decision to honor a family friend who died and others who lost their lives in the attack. ‘I want to volunteer and give back to the community on that day. I’d rather do something to help the community as a whole,’ said Faber.
