The beef, consisting of various raw cuts, originated from the company Corte Argentino USA. It was shipped to retailers and grocery distributors located in Florida and Texas.
The production dates for the meat range from May 15 to May 20. The freeze-by dates were set for September 15 to 20. Federal officials took this step to ensure consumer safety due to the lack of proper inspection.
