Recently, actor Tom Holland shared insights into his relationship with Zendaya, sparking interest with hints about their possible marriage. Now, Zendaya has unveiled what irritates her most about her co-star.
During their press tour for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the two actors discussed their shared interests. The film is slated to be released on July 31. Both actors expressed their love for video gaming, particularly the Spider-Man game.
“We love the games,” Holland admitted, explaining their frequent gaming sessions. “The games are absolutely sensational.”
While Holland excels at Insomniac’s Spider-Man, Zendaya admits she finds it challenging. “I’m not very good at playing video games,” she confessed. She elaborated on her struggle to improve her skills without assistance. She mentioned, “I do the Story Mode, and I get really frustrated because I want to play it all by myself. And he’ll try to help.”
Zendaya insisted, “I need to do this on my own. You can’t help me.” Even though this frustrates her, she admitted there was a particularly difficult level where Holland’s help became necessary.
Their humorous interaction about gaming has entertained fans. Social media users remarked on their dynamic, drawing parallels to their Spider-Man characters. Comments included, “Tom Holland is a backseat gamer confirmed” and “Zendaya refusing Tom Holland’s help while playing Spider-Man is somehow the most Peter and MJ thing ever.”
Among the social media responses, one user noted, “Tom Holland trying to be Spider-Man both in real life and in the game.” Another joked, “Tom knows some secret Spider-Man techniques that only Spider-Man knows.”
Insomniac Games supported Zendaya’s determination and extended an invitation for a studio visit to explore game development. They suggested, “If you’re ever near Burbank, you’re always welcome to swing by the studio to see how we make ‘em! We’d love to show you around!” This invitation adds another layer to the entertaining dynamic between the couple.
