A TikTok couple faced arrest on Tuesday after allegations surfaced about them setting an abandoned house on fire in West Virginia. This incident might have resulted in over $10,000 in damages to a nearby church.

Charges and Court Proceedings

Dakota Harper, aged 21, and Felicity Eatmon, aged 22, were charged with first-degree arson and conspiracy to commit an offense. The charges carry a potential life sentence, as per information from the Kanawha County Magistrate Court.

The couple, known on social media, has 28,000 followers on TikTok. Harper appeared in court, gaining viral attention due to his size. Court documents reveal that Harper stands at 3 feet 9 inches and weighs 43 pounds. During the court proceedings, Harper was seated at a table, requiring assistance from an officer to adjust his chair.

Eatmon joined Harper in court, identifying herself as his fiancée on their social media content. Court records indicate she is 5 feet 1 inch tall.

Incident Details

The fire incident occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m. on a Sunday in Charleston’s West Side. Arrests followed the release of surveillance footage allegedly showing the couple setting a lit piece of paper inside the house. According to WCHS-TV, the footage captured Eatmon handing Harper the paper, which he ignited and placed inside the dwelling.

Authorities noted that the house was abandoned and did not have active utilities. Even by Monday morning, the remnants of the fire continued to smolder. The nearby Canaan United Methodist Church experienced notable damage due to the blaze.

Both Harper and Eatmon are currently detained with bonds set at $10,000 each.
