The New York Giants are committed to their quarterback lineup of Jaxson Dart and Jameis Winston for the next three seasons. Dart will continue as the starting quarterback, following his four-year rookie contract after being the 25th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Winston, meanwhile, has secured a two-year contract extension as confirmed by Jordan Schultz.
Winston serves as Dart’s backup, with potential to start games owing to possible injuries. Last season, he played in two games, achieving 37 completions out of 66 attempts, resulting in 567 yards, along with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
At age 32, Winston has earned substantial income through his career. He signed a $25.3 million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the 2015 NFL Draft, followed by contracts of $38.6 million, $4 million, and $8 million with the Saints, Browns, and Giants, respectively. His latest agreement totals $13 million.
The Giants maintain a streamlined approach with only two quarterbacks on their active roster, ensuring both players are secured for future seasons.
