During the Kick livestream, Sneako, whose real name is Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy, made these comments while Egypt fans celebrated a World Cup victory over Australia. The event was marked by drums, horns, and flags, according to reports from Fox News.
In the video, Sneako shouted “Allahu Akbar” and declared: “This is the Islamic Republic of New York-istan. Islam will be in every household. Inshallah the whole world will be Muslim.” He also mentioned New York City’s mayor, Zohran Mamdani, the first Muslim mayor of the city, saying: “Welcome to Mamdani’s New York. You see this city? You see how it looks? Inshallah, your city looks just like this too.”
Alex Jones Calls for Deportation
The comments triggered a wave of anger on social media, particularly among conservative commentators. Fox News reported that the clip gained millions of views across platforms like Instagram and X. Alex Jones, founder of InfoWars, responded by demanding Sneako’s deportation. Elon Musk replied with agreement, saying, “Yes!”
The backlash intensified as Sneako did not issue an apology or retract his comments. Instead, he appeared to embrace the controversy further. Fox News noted that after the initial outrage, he posted a message stating, “Every knee will bow. Every tongue confess.” In response to Musk’s comment on Jones’ post, he provocatively told Musk to “go back to Africa” and asserted, “This is my country.”
Further reactions included Elon Musk labeling a post by author Gad Saad as “Troubling,” concerning religious demographics in light of the comments. Other social media users suggested Sneako should be deported to Iran or labeled him as “disgusting.”
