Renewed Conflict in the Gulf Region

Iran’s Retaliatory Strikes

On Wednesday, Iran launched attacks on American bases and allies throughout the Gulf region. This action followed a series of U.S. strikes along Iran’s southern coast. These U.S. attacks reportedly resulted in the death of at least 18 individuals, as stated by Iran’s health minister.

U.S. Response

Addressing the situation at the White House, President Trump remarked that this renewed campaign would not be prolonged. He issued a warning to Tehran, promising significant retaliation if the conflict in the Strait of Hormuz persists.

“This campaign won’t last long, but if Tehran does not resolve the conflict over the Strait of Hormuz, we’ll hit them very hard,” President Trump declared during the briefing.
