LIV Files for Bankruptcy, Plans for Player-Owned League

LIV Golf, once supported by Saudi investors, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Despite this setback, the league’s officials are optimistic about restructuring the organization.

Noteworthy players, such as Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm, are central to these plans. The goal is to transform LIV into a streamlined league owned by the players themselves.

DeChambeau, along with other former PGA Tour professionals, is among those owed substantial sums by LIV Golf.
