During Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Kimmel aired footage of the pool, commenting that Trump spent a significant amount to update the reflecting pool at the National Mall. He noted that Trump disliked its previous appearance and aimed for an American flag blue finish.
Kimmel humorously remarked that not even a week after the project was finalized, the pool had turned green. He joked, “Trump was aiming for Avatar but ended up with Shrek.”
Meanwhile, on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Fallon opened with a mention of Trump’s recently completed project. The audience responded with boos as he described the President’s attempt to color the water blue, which ultimately ended up bright green due to algae.
