An Australian woman vacationing in Las Vegas has been missing for three weeks, sparking concern among friends and family.
Sally Grace Contarino, 26, originally from Melbourne, Australia, last communicated on June 20. She mentioned to a friend via message that she planned to go hiking, reported the New York Post.
According to police, she traveled from Melbourne on June 13. Her arrival at a downtown Las Vegas hotel was confirmed to a family member by June 18, as reported by KLAS.
Red Rock Search & Rescue in Las Vegas has issued an alert for the missing Australian tourist. She was last seen at 9700 West Skye Canyon Drive, according to sources.
The Australian Consulate in Los Angeles contacted the Las Vegas Metro Police after Victorian Police in Australia filed a missing person report.
Las Vegas’s Red Rock Search & Rescue shared on social media that Contarino did not return home as planned following her trip. The itinerary reportedly included stops in Las Vegas, Mt. Charleston, and Southern California.
