The Missouri authorities have issued an Amber Alert for a one-year-old child, Emiliona Gonzalez. This comes after a suspect reportedly stole a vehicle with the baby inside in St. Louis.
The incident occurred at the 800 block of S. Broadway in St. Louis around 10:40 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The last known direction of the vehicle was eastbound on Walnut Street from Memorial Drive.
Authorities are actively searching for a person named Joseph Nickell. He is 43 years old and was last seen with Emiliona Gonzalez. Nickell is described as a Black man, approximately 6 feet tall, with dark hair and a light mustache. It is reported that he is armed with a handgun.
The baby, Emiliona Gonzalez, was dressed in a gray onesie paired with black shorts at the time of the incident.
The stolen vehicle is identified as a blue Dodge Charger, model years 2015-2023, featuring two white stripes over the hood. It possesses an Illinois temporary registration tag along with an Illinois license plate.
