Aaron Rodgers addressed rumors surrounding Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback Drew Allar. During an appearance on the Not Just Football with Cam Heyward podcast, Rodgers discussed alleged direct messages from Allar that surfaced in 2025. These messages were said to be racy but Rodgers dismissed them as untrue, emphasizing that they were fabricated.
Rodgers, 43, shared that he had spoken to Allar about the situation, stating, “For those pop culture enthusiasts, there’s a DM thread out there about Drew. He definitely wanted me to come on here and say it’s not true and that it was made up, but it’s out there. It’s a little racy.” Allar, who has been in a committed relationship with his girlfriend Emma Bush for years, viewed the incident as false and unfounded.
Reports show Allar and Bush have maintained their relationship since high school, evidenced by recent social media posts. Bush shared a video marking their seven-year relationship. Rodgers further recounted a conversation with Allar about the attention the messages had drawn, remarking on how such topics circulate in quarterback rooms.
At Steelers training camp, Rodgers mentioned his enjoyment of the team dynamic, particularly praising the quarterback group which includes Mason Rudolph, Will Howard, and Allar. Despite the gossip, Allar has successfully navigated the scrutiny, earning respect in the locker room.
Rodgers, who is in his final NFL season, expressed his appreciation for his time with the Steelers, noting the camaraderie he shares with his teammates. He also touched on personal aspirations beyond football, mentioning hopes to support his wife next year.
