Aaron Donald, renowned as one of the greatest pass rushers in NFL history, is making a comeback to the league. He signed a one-year deal worth $20 million with the Los Angeles Rams, the team he previously played for. This agreement was finalized on Sunday, strengthening the roster of an already formidable team.
The Rams have been considered strong contenders for a Super Bowl title. Donald’s return further enhances their prospects, increasing their chances of securing a championship.
The signing has intensified the expectations placed on the team. On Monday, during ESPN’s ‘First Take,’ Stephen A. Smith brought this into focus. He stated the Rams face a ‘Super Bowl or bust’ scenario.
“The only possible excuse for the Rams not making the Super Bowl is health,” Smith remarked. “Injuries can disrupt everything. If the team remains healthy, there’s no reason they shouldn’t win the Super Bowl.”
Besides Donald’s return, the Rams’ roster includes standout players like Matthew Stafford, the reigning NFL MVP, and Myles Garrett, the current Defensive Player of the Year.
The Los Angeles Rams are set to begin their regular season with a game against the San Francisco 49ers on September 10.
