The free streaming service Tubi has unveiled the 2026 FIFA World Cup FOX Hub, anticipating the renowned soccer tournament. This hub is intended to be a comprehensive resource for fans, providing a mix of FOX Sports and FIFA content. It includes original and exclusive material from Tubi. Owned by Fox Corporation, Tubi also plans to simulcast the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremonies live in 4K along with two matches. These include Mexico versus South Africa on Thursday, June 11, and the U.S. Men’s National Team (USMNT) versus Paraguay on Friday, June 12.
Deirdre Hesseldieck, Tubi’s Senior Vice President of Product, emphasized the historic significance of the World Cup and the role of technology in broadening its impact. She stated, “The FIFA World Cup FOX Hub is Tubi’s contribution to that legacy: a free destination designed for a seamless fan experience, where viewers can easily navigate from live coverage and highlights to creator commentary, player interviews, and expert predictions. We built it so fans never lose the thread.” The hub offers a 24/7 feed featuring live digital original programming and highlights from FOX Sports.
Samuel Harowitz, Senior Vice President of Content Acquisitions and Partnerships at Tubi, highlighted the widespread cultural influence of the World Cup. He noted, “The FIFA World Cup FOX Hub is programmed around everything that surrounds it: the players, the teams, the countries, and the creators who live and breathe the sport, delivering the ultimate fan experience.” The hub includes original docuseries focused on players’ journeys to the tournament, engaging talk shows, podcasts, and classic films about soccer.
Tubi Original programs are slated to include “Destination World Cup 2026,” profiling players like Weston McKennie (USMNT), Marc Cucurella (Spain), and Harry Wilson (Wales). Another offering is “The Other Football,” featuring FOX Sports personalities Rob Gronkowski and Jameis Winston in a comedic exploration of soccer.
Premium entertainment includes BBC’s “Twenty Twenty Six,” a six-part comedy series starring Hugh Bonneville in a satirical role. Also featured is FOX’s “Summer of ’94,” documenting the 1994 USMNT’s remarkable journey. “Alexi Lalas’ State of the Union” will offer in-depth analysis from former USMNT player and FOX Sports soccer analyst Alexi Lalas.
Roundtables and creative content from popular figures are also part of the hub. Donald De La Haye, known as Deestroying, will present “Deestroying the Pitch,” a competitive series. Jesse “Jesser” Riedel will lead soccer challenges in “Jesser’s Ultimate Kickoff.” Additionally, talkSPORT will analyze the tournament, featuring soccer legends like Emmanuel Petit and Brad Friedel in “How to Win the World Cup,” hosted by comedian Matt Forde.
