The opposition to new data center construction has sparked valid concerns among communities. Residents are asking important questions about the implications these centers have on their neighborhoods. Yet, misinformation is clouding some of the discourse. This is partially due to an orchestrated effort by foreign entities to undermine the U.S. artificial intelligence sector. Such campaigns, notably from China, aim to shift the balance of technological leadership and job creation.
