All five of Connecticut’s House members are seeking reelection. Among them, Rep. John Larson is the only one facing a contested primary. On Tuesday, Larson competes for the Democratic nomination against former Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin and two other candidates.
Larson has gained backing from Connecticut’s Democratic Senators Richard Blumenthal and Chris Coons. In contrast, Bronin secured support from former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
Polling indicates a competitive race between Larson and Bronin. Polls are set to close at 8 p.m. EDT.
