Iranian foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, advocated for diplomacy over military tactics concerning the Yemen conflict. He expressed these views during a Saturday interview published in a state-run Iranian newspaper.
Current Straits of Hormuz Situation
The Strait of Hormuz remains a contentious area with heightened alert levels. The U.S. military recently fired upon a merchant vessel in the Gulf of Oman attempting to breach the U.S-imposed blockade on Iran’s ports. Conversely, Iran strikes at U.S.-allied regions.
