In a recent podcast episode of ABC’s ‘Behind the Table,’ ‘The View’ co-host Ana Navarro commended Hunter Biden. She described him as ‘riveting’ and ‘the biggest troll.’ Navarro commented on the scrutiny Hunter faced over his Burisma income. She argued that this paled in comparison to the Trump family’s profits during Donald Trump’s presidency.
Navarro highlighted what she called ‘double standards’ concerning the monetization of the presidency. Hunter Biden was called into a congressional hearing for his Burisma earnings. Navarro pointed out that this was minor compared to the billions the Trump family reportedly made.
‘The monetization of the presidency, the fact that Hunter got dragged through the coals and brought into a congressional hearing by Republicans for the money that he was making in Burisma, which is not even chump change in comparison to the billions of dollars that the Trump family has made off the presidency,’ Navarro said.
The podcast featured a 90-minute interview with Hunter Biden. During this, Navarro praised Biden’s humor and his engaging social media presence. She mentioned a notable response from Biden on social media addressing a user who blamed him for cocaine found at the White House in 2023. Biden humorously dismissed the suggestion.
Hunter Biden and business associate Devon Archer had received substantial payments from Burisma since joining its board in 2014. This occurred while Joe Biden, then Vice-President, influenced U.S. policy on Ukraine during the Obama administration.
Navarro also defended Hunter Biden’s art sales, noting the scrutiny each sale underwent. She stated that he had not profited during his father’s presidency through any unfair means.
In contrast, the White House defended the Trump family’s business practices. Communications director Steven Cheung emphasized the independence of Trump’s children in building successful businesses. According to reports, ten buyers purchased Biden’s artwork, amounting to $1.5 million, with Biden receiving a significant share.
Fox News Digital reached out to both the FBI and the White House for further comments. However, responses were not immediately available to clarify ongoing investigations or disputes.
