Carrie Underwood rose to fame after winning the singing competition “American Idol” in 2005. Born on March 10, 1983, to Carole and Stephen Underwood, she quickly made a name for herself in the country music scene. Her debut album, Some Hearts, launched the same year and included the hit single “Before He Cheats.”
Underwood’s music career continued with the release of several albums: Carnival Ride, Play On, Blown Away, Storyteller, Cry Pretty, her first Christmas album My Gift, and My Savior. In 2022, she released Denim & Rhinestones.
Her talent has earned her numerous awards, including Grammys, ACM Awards, CMT Music Awards, CMA Awards, and American Music Awards. She was the host of the CMA Awards for 12 consecutive years. Since 2013, she has performed the show open for NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
In 2008, Underwood was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. She also became the first artist to perform at the Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas with her residency “Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency.”
Apart from her music, Underwood is the founder of the fitness brand CALIA by Carrie Underwood. She authored a fitness book titled Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life. Additionally, she released a fitness app named fit52 in 2020.
