Knicks Championship Celebration: Ticket Lottery and Event Details

New York City is holding a public lottery to distribute 600 tickets for the Knicks’ championship ceremony at City Hall. The lottery ends at 11 a.m. today. The ceremony is set to begin at noon on Thursday at City Hall Plaza, following a ticker-tape parade for the team through Lower Manhattan’s Canyon of Heroes.

The lottery will select 300 winners, each receiving two tickets. Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced that winners will be notified after the lottery closes. Attendees at the ceremony can expect speeches, musical performances, and the presentation of keys to the city to Knicks players by Mayor Mamdani.

According to the mayor’s statement, the Knicks have united New Yorkers from all walks of life, prompting the decision to make the tickets free and accessible to the public.
