White House Responds to Ariana Grande’s Critique

The White House has responded to criticism from singer Ariana Grande regarding the use of her song in a social media video about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrests. The video, which included her song ‘Bye’, was slammed by Grande, leading to a public reply from the White House.

White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson addressed the controversy, telling Fox News Digital, ‘We’ll say this one last time: what’s actually barbaric, inhumane, and heinous are the criminal illegal aliens who have injured and murdered innocent American citizens.’

Ariana Grande, known for her opposition to certain policies of the Trump administration, criticized the inclusion of her music in the video. She commented on the TikTok post, urging, ‘please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense.’ Observers noted that the sound appeared to have been removed from the video by Thursday.

Previously, Grande has been vocal about immigration issues. Last September, she shared on Instagram that ‘immigrants have been violently torn from their families and communities have been destroyed.’ She has participated in protests, such as the Women’s March in 2017, and expressed opposition to Trump’s transgender bathroom policy.

She also shared a protest sign questioning the legal process under Trump’s administration, referencing his conviction on charges of falsifying business records in a case involving payments to Stormy Daniels. Ariana Grande has supported political figures like Kamala Harris and performed for former President Barack Obama at the White House in 2014.

Fox News Digital has contacted Grande’s representatives for any additional comments.
