WWE Forms Global Content Partnership with Bleacher Report

WWE announced a significant partnership with Bleacher Report for strategic content collaboration, granting Bleacher Report global rights to highlights from WWE programming such as ‘Monday Night Raw,’ ‘Friday Night SmackDown,’ NXT, and premium live events. This partnership aims to extend WWE’s global reach across social media platforms.

Bleacher Report will participate in certain WWE premium live events, enhancing its presence within the sports and culture sectors, as highlighted by WWE executive vice president Alex Varga. He stated, “Our partnership with B/R reinforces WWE’s commitment to bringing our content to a global audience.” Bennett Spector, general manager of Bleacher Report, emphasized the passionate engagement of WWE fans, making this partnership an opportunity to bring fans closer to pivotal moments in the sport.

WWE boasts substantial social media presence with over 102 million followers on Facebook, 40.1 million on TikTok, 35 million on Instagram, and 13 million on X. Despite recent developments like Paramount’s settlement over Warner Bros. Discovery’s takeover, WWE and Bleacher Report’s deal remains unaffected.

This collaboration coincides with a high interest in professional wrestling globally. It’s relevant to note that Bleacher Report, a Warner Bros. Discovery subsidiary, intersects with WWE’s U.S. competitor, All Elite Wrestling (AEW), which broadcasts its shows on TNT, TBS, and HBO Max.

Warner Bros. Discovery announced plans to maintain TNT Sports and Bleacher Report under Global Networks in 2025, focusing away from TV and film pursuits by 2026, as reported by Sportico.

Bleacher Report previously streamed AEW pay-per-views but ceased this service in 2024. AEW’s owner, Tony Khan, expressed optimism about corporate leadership changes and their impact on AEW’s growth. He affirmed AEW’s alignment with Warner Bros.’ evolving business model, ensuring continued partnership benefits.
