The mother of Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis recently shared insights into a challenging time when her son faced a significant privacy breach. In an interview on “The Ross Tucker Podcast,” Beth Levis discussed the leak of a private tape involving Will and his former girlfriend, which occurred in 2024.
According to Beth Levis, hackers from Eastern Europe targeted her son. The breach happened one year after the Tennessee Titans had drafted Will, who was then a Kentucky quarterback.
Efforts to Address the Breach
Will Levis took substantial steps to manage the situation. He hired both a cybersecurity specialist and a private investigator, investing heavily to resolve the issue. Despite efforts to remove the content, the permanent nature of digital footprints posed a challenge. Beth Levis noted that while much of the material was removed, erasing content from the internet entirely proved impossible.
The investigation revealed a breach of his personal devices, either a laptop or phone, during his college years. An Eastern European hacking group, notorious for targeting couples to exploit, was identified as the culprit.
During this period, Will Levis was dating Gia Duddy, but the pair eventually parted ways. Beth Levis chose not to disclose the identity of the woman in the video.
Emotional Impact and Moving Forward
When Will discovered the leaked content, he reached out to his mother with an apology. Beth Levis described feeling devastated upon hearing his apology. Despite this turmoil, confirming the source of the breach brought some peace of mind, as it was not an act of malice from someone unknown.
Since being drafted by the Titans in the 2023 season, Will Levis missed the entirety of 2025 due to an injury. He has amassed 3,899 passing yards and thrown 21 touchdowns in 21 games. As the 2026 season approaches, he is expected to serve as the backup to Cam Ward.
