Vanessa Trump Announces Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Vanessa Trump, the former spouse of Donald Trump Jr., revealed her breast cancer diagnosis through an Instagram story on Wednesday. She shared, “I want to share a personal health update. I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan.”

The 48-year-old mother of five expressed gratitude towards her medical team for a procedure performed earlier in the week. She stated, “I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.” She concluded her message by asking for privacy, “Thank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.”

Ivanka Trump, Vanessa’s former sister-in-law, responded with support on Instagram, writing, “Praying for your continued strength and a swift recovery. Love you mama.”

Vanessa’s diagnosis comes soon after her partner, golf legend Tiger Woods, completed a rehabilitation program in Switzerland. Woods faced charges related to a car crash in Florida, including DUI and refusal to submit to a urine test; he pleaded not guilty on March 31.

Vanessa and Donald Trump Jr. were married in 2005 after being introduced by President Donald Trump at a fashion show. The couple divorced in 2018 and has five children together: Kai, 19; Donald III, 17; Tristan, 14; Spencer, 13; and Chloe, 11. Kai has emerged as a social media personality and golfer, expressing her love for her mother in a recent Instagram post on Mother’s Day.

In related news, Susie Wiles, Trump’s chief of staff, announced her breast cancer diagnosis in March. She stated in a social media post, “Last week, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Nearly one in eight women in the United States will face this diagnosis. Every day, these women continue to raise their families, go to work, and serve their communities with strength and determination. I now join their ranks.” She shared that her cancer was detected early, and she expressed gratitude for support, particularly from President Trump, during her treatment.
