Frankfort police reported the devastating loss of a 2-year-old child who was found unresponsive in a Frankfort residence on Tuesday. The child was later pronounced dead at a hospital, with officials suspecting a domestic-related homicide.
Upon arriving at the scene on the 22700 block of Brook Stone Court, officers discovered the child’s mother engaging in self-harm. She was promptly taken to a hospital, where she received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
Emergency responders reached the location at 4:04 p.m. and administered CPR to the child. Despite efforts to save the child’s life, subsequent hospital treatment proved insufficient, and the child was declared deceased.
