An 18-year-old student was fatally shot and three others were injured during a high school graduation event in Northern California. The incident occurred at a Sem Yeto High School ceremony held at Fairfield High School.
According to Fairfield Police Officer Michelle Belyea, the victims include an 11-year-old child, a 20-year-old, and a 25-year-old. Sadly, the 18-year-old succumbed to the injuries.
The injured individuals are receiving medical attention. Police are actively investigating the shooting but have not provided details about a suspect. Authorities assured the public that there is currently no ongoing threat to the community.

Fairfield Mayor Catherine Moy, herself a Fairfield High graduate, expressed deep sorrow. She urged residents to rely on official updates from the police. Suisun City Mayor Alma Hernandez also expressed condolences, noting the lasting impact on the community.
