Fred de Sam Lazaro is the director of the Under-Told Stories Project at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. This initiative combines international journalism with teaching. Since 1985, Lazaro has been a part of PBS NewsHour and regularly contributes to PBS’ Religion and Ethics Newsweekly as a substitute anchor.
