Jamie Hayter and Hikaru Shida competed on familiar terms, but their alignment faded fast. Shida intervened with a kendo stick to disrupt Statlander’s pin attempt. Tensions rose when Shida struck her tag partner, Statlander, sparking a fierce exchange.

Despite several setbacks, Thekla seized her opportunity. Outside the ring, Hayter and Shida tried to double clothesline each other, creating an opening. With Statlander alone in the ring, Thekla executed a decisive stomp, securing a pin to retain her title.

The Austrian star claimed the championship from Statlander in February on ‘Dynamite.’ Since then, she has successfully defended her title six times.

Post-match, Thekla hinted at monitoring the Owen Hart Women’s Tournament. She expressed interest in her teammate, Skye Blue, as a potential winner. Thekla’s next steps remain a point of interest.
