Riders Stuck on Siren’s Curse at Cedar Point
Visitors at Cedar Point Amusement Park experienced a tense situation over the weekend when the Siren’s Curse roller coaster left them stranded vertically just before a major drop. This incident happened twice, but fortunately, all riders were evacuated without any injuries.
Disney World Guest Suffers Cardiac Emergency
A 54-year-old Disney World guest experienced a cardiac emergency while on the ‘It’s a Small World’ ride at Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland. The individual, who had a pre-existing heart condition, was transported to a hospital where he later passed away.
This tragic event was documented in the latest quarterly report on theme park injuries and illnesses in Florida.
Additional Medical Incidents at Disney World
Several other medical incidents were reported at Disney World during the spring. In May, a 75-year-old woman sustained a head injury while leaving Space Mountain. Similarly, in April, another woman suffered a head injury on the Snow Stormers water slide.
A 44-year-old man experienced back pain while riding Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in May. Moreover, a 74-year-old man with a pre-existing condition reported nausea and vomiting after riding ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind’.
