Rep. Ralph Norman’s Support for Sen. Darline Graham in Upcoming Election

Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., expressed his support for Sen. Darline Graham, R-S.C., in the upcoming U.S. Senate general election in South Carolina. In a post on X, Norman emphasized his focus on fighting against socialist Democrats and Republicans who enable them, rather than opposing his party members. He acknowledged the voters’ choice and congratulated Graham on winning the Republican nomination. Norman vowed to back the Republican nominee in November to defeat the Democrats and uphold conservative values.

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster appointed Graham, following the passing of her brother, Sen. Lindsey Graham, in July. In August, Graham, backed by former President Donald Trump, won the South Carolina Republican U.S. Senate primary runoff against Norman. Trump’s endorsement was pivotal in Graham’s historic victory.

Norman, reflecting on his loss, stated he would support Graham to the best of his ability. However, concerns arose regarding Graham’s campaign funding, as Norman noticed her financial support was primarily from Washington D.C., including liberal Political Action Committees (PACs), and support from Lisa Murkowski, which he found troubling.

Fox News Digital reached out to Graham’s campaign but did not receive an immediate response. They also contacted Murkowski’s office, which declined to comment.

In the general election, Graham will face Democratic nominee Dr. Annie Andrews. This election will determine who will represent South Carolina in the U.S. Senate. The outcome holds significant importance for Republican efforts to maintain their conservative agenda.
