A socialist contender in the Ohio Senate election claims a mysterious super PAC is misleading voters. Greg Levy, running in a closely watched race, asserts his campaign has no connection to the recent surge of mailers in his support.
The mailers encourage Ohioans to ‘Join the Revolution’ and highlight Levy’s advocacy for ‘Free Palestine’ and a $30 minimum wage. However, Levy’s team used social media on Sunday to clarify their lack of involvement. They stated the mailings are a deceptive tactic, comparing it to ‘digital blackface’ — emphasizing Levy’s identity as a Black candidate.
Levy’s campaign is weighing legal options against those responsible for this impersonation, expressing concern over the misleading nature of these mailers.
