Selma Blair, known for her role in ‘Cruel Intentions,’ reportedly experienced a violent incident on a Delta Airlines flight. According to the New York Port Authority, the actress became physically aggressive with the flight crew and was taken into custody upon landing. The incident occurred on a Sunday night flight from Los Angeles International Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport.
The Port Authority Police Department received a call around 11 p.m. Two flight attendants required medical attention after the in-flight altercation. One attendant was transported to a hospital for further evaluation. The FBI is currently investigating the events.
Blair’s representatives stated, ‘Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition.’
Dispatch audio obtained by TMZ revealed that a flight attendant suffered a bloody nose during the incident. Blair reportedly hit her head on an overhead compartment. Delta’s spokesperson emphasized that the airline has zero tolerance for unruly behavior, prioritizing the safety of passengers and crew.
Blair faced a similar situation in 2016 on a flight from Cancun to Los Angeles, where she apologized for mixing alcohol with medication, causing her to black out and act in regretful ways.
