Maren Morris Shares Her Healing Journey in Bali

Maren Morris recently shared glimpses of her healing journey through a series of photos on Instagram. The 36-year-old country singer documented her trip to Bali, emphasizing that she is on a path to healing.

In the Instagram post, Morris expressed gratitude to her companions, saying, “Thank you @rachelbeauregard + @hotyogaeastnashville for the most beautiful journey to Bali with so many new friends for life. And it’s not over yet :)”

One of the images captured Morris in a black string bikini, showcasing her fit figure as she stood on a deck with lounge chairs and a drink in her hand. Additional photos from her wellness retreat included moments of group meditation, exploring waterfalls, and light-hearted interactions with friends.

Fans responded positively to her posts. One commented, “She’s thrivinggggggg (and surviving),” while another expressed happiness for her journey.

Morris rose to fame in 2016 with her breakout song “My Church,” which paved the way for her debut album “Hero.” This album included popular tracks like “80’s Mercedes,” “I Could Use a Love Song,” and “Rich.” Her discography has since expanded to four studio albums, and she has received 17 Grammy nominations, winning one.

While the specifics of what Morris is healing from remain private, she previously discussed personal topics in her recent album “D R E A M S I C L E.” This album explored themes of her sexuality and her experiences going through a divorce from ex-husband Ryan Hurd. She shared, “It’s a very intimate record, very vulnerable.”

Morris has openly addressed challenges related to her mental health and political views. She has been vocal about her discomfort with the current state of country music and its politics. In January, she shared on TikTok that award shows have become “dicey,” attributing this to a shift in the political landscape post-President Trump’s first term.

Morris has also faced backlash over her political stances. In 2024, she drew criticism for taking her young son to a drag show. On “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” she defended her decision, describing the event as “family-friendly.” She emphasized the importance of normalizing such artistic expressions.
