Background on Madison Square Garden Residency

The concert was part of Bon Jovi’s residency at Madison Square Garden, where he expressed delight in returning to live shows with the band. While prior shows in the residency lasted more than two hours and featured around 19 songs, the July 23 concert wrapped up after approximately 15 songs, lasting only 90 minutes. Monahan, who was in the audience as a fan, joined Bon Jovi on stage for “Livin’ on a Prayer,” contributing vocals.
