Joe Coffey Plans Big Moves in Major League Wrestling

Joe Coffey, a prominent figure in professional wrestling, has made a significant impact by joining Major League Wrestling (MLW) over the past year. He transitioned from WWE NXT to MLW, alongside his Gallus stablemates, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang. Together, they now brand themselves as Glasgow Boys on Top (GBOT), aiming to secure championship titles.

The trio left WWE in May 2025 and opted for MLW to further their wrestling careers. Coffey recently discussed his reasons for choosing MLW, emphasizing his desire for character development and storytelling opportunities. He expressed his gratitude towards Court Bauer and MLW for providing a platform to explore and share his ideas.

“I feel like I just want more character development,” Coffey told Fox News Digital. “I want to be able to tell a story. The past couple of years I felt that kinda went unutilized. So does Mark, so does Wolfie. I’m really looking forward to telling great stories.”

Coffey also spoke of aspirations to hold a title soon, not only for himself but for the entire GBOT. He quoted Conor McGregor, highlighting his desire to be dominant in the ring and to make an impact, declaring that he is here not to participate but to take over.

“I hope I have a title around my waist,” he said. “I think we’re coming, especially now, the GBOT, it’s gotta be pure violence, to be honest.”

MLW’s Joe Coffey’s entrance at the arena was met with enthusiasm as he reaffirmed his intentions to dominate the wrestling scene. His aim is to remind everyone of his credentials and experiences with Hall of Famers, sold-out arenas, and main events.

MLW Fusion recently debuted on Veeps, a global streaming service, which Coffey described as a “massive” move for the promotion. This platform allows a broader audience to access MLW for free, bringing fresh storytelling elements to professional wrestling.

“Actually watching ‘Fusion’ last Saturday, I feel as if MLW Fusion has what the pro wrestling world is missing,” Coffey said. “It has something for everyone. There’s great storylines going on at one time.”

The debut promises to introduce new fans to what MLW has to offer, with positive feedback encouraging Coffey about the future.
