Wearing a tuxedo, Tiki carried a sign to Game 3 between the Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries, professing his admiration for Reese. As Reese stood at the foul line, Tiki loudly declared, ‘Angel, I love you.’
The sign Tiki held read, ‘Angel will you marry me?’ Despite his efforts, Reese, who played for the Atlanta Dream and was recognized as the 2026 WNBA Defensive Player of the Year, did not reciprocate. She later responded on Tiki’s video, writing, ‘Not in this lifetime, but I have some fine friendsssss.’
During the finals, Reese and the Atlanta Dream faced off intensely against the Golden State Valkyries. The series remained tight, with each team showing impressive performances.
